My name is Oskar Bräysy. I’m eager to help organizations transform raw data into concrete business solutions. I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Information and Service Management (ISM) program at Aalto University, combining my technical expertise (R and Power BI) with a strong business foundation (Excel, SAP).

Stock Accounting/Investor Behavior Tool:
Stock Accounting Tool: For this project, I developed an accounting tool for my stock investing. Programmed with AI tools such as Gemini and Llama, it reads accounting data from Google Sheets and visualizes the desired information by using the RStudio Shiny package. It helps answer the question: “How can I make better trading decisions?” To me, that is a practical, tangible example that shows my skills.
Customer Churn Analysis (Churn %):
I downloaded a “Telco Customer Churn” dataset from Kaggle.
Then I analyzed the simulated data from the fictional telecommunications operator dataset to address two primary business objectives:
- How can we identify customers with the highest risk of terminating their subscription?
- How can we tailor our services to prevent churn?
Based on the data, I conducted a comprehensive analysis using Power BI and developed a PowerPoint presentation designed for executive decision-making.
Power BI Project: This project demonstrates my data visualization skills. I retrieved macroeconomic indicators and historical data from Tilastokeskus (stat.fi) API.
The data was used to build a comprehensive dashboard of various datapoints sourced from the API.
Studies and general experience
I graduated with a BBA in Business Administration from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in June 2024 (GPA 4.67, thesis grade 5), which provided me with a solid foundation in business and international trade. During my third year, I completed an exchange semester in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, where I focused on statistics and business analytics. While there, I also studied for the GMAT exam, which helped me secure a spot in Aalto University’s Information and Service Management (ISM) Master’s program before I completed my Bachelor’s degree.
In my current Master’s studies at Aalto, I am deepening my expertise in data flow management and information systems optimization to improve efficiency and competitive advantage. Alongside my studies, I have independently developed my skills with various AI tools, R, and Power BI.
